Gone with the Wind
I want to design an open-world street racing game called Gone with the Wind, where players can meet friends and other people online from around the world. They can race against each other, visit each other’s virtual houses, and much more. Players can also upgrade their cars to improve speed or drifting performance.
Core Mechanic
Objective:
Gone with the Wind is an open-world street racing game set in Miami, Florida. You can play online with your friends or enjoy a single-player mode. Players around the world can see each other’s cars and houses in the game.
Gameplay:
In Gone with the Wind, you can customize your characters, and the game’s upgrade system allows you to modify the appearance of your car and improve its performance within its class or in a higher class. You are free to explore the open world at your own pace.
Players must purchase at least one house to store their cars and need money to maintain their lifestyle, buy cars, and upgrade their characters. The primary ways to earn money are by completing missions or participating in races. Winning races or completing missions rewards you with substantial in-game currency.
Each lobby can host up to 15 players. Cars must be properly maintained within the game world, with mechanic and performance shops available throughout the map. The game also features gas stations, and players must refuel when they run out of gas.
Friends in your lobby can visit your house to see your garage and even test drive your cars. Houses serve as social hubs where friends can gather, plan races, start missions together, or attend car meets. It’s a dynamic, interactive world where players can socialize, compete, and explore together.
Map: shows your location and the route to follow during a race.

During the race, he is in second place and uses the NOS button to accelerate on the straightaways. However, the cops are approaching, and if you get caught, you lose and must restart the match.
