I designed this motion graphic as a personal project, something I love to do. I wanted to create a captivating and visually stunning piece that showcases my skills and creativity in graphic design and animation. It effectively communicates a message or story through a dynamic combination of moving images, typography, and other design elements. The motion graphic engages viewers and leaves a lasting impression, demonstrating my ability to capture and hold their attention. I used After Effects and Final Cut Pro/Premiere to create the video. For the artwork, I created illustrations and then transferred them into After Effects to enhance the motion graphic effect.

Star Wars
I created and designed my own Star Wars movie video. We filmed it in the middle of the woods in Lake Forest with the help of my cousin. I wrote my own script and created the lightsaber effects in After Effects.
Lyric Video
A lyric video is a motion graphic that combines filmed footage with kinetic typography. The main objective of this project is to animate in sync with the rhythm of the music. This is achieved by using sequences of animated typography and vector graphics in conjunction with the song’s lyrics. Like the music itself, the motion graphic conveys a fun and bright mood through its movement, typography, and color scheme. In addition to being visually engaging, the lyric motion graphic helps fans follow along with the lyrics. The words move dynamically, keeping pace with the rhythm of the song.
